I’m so happy you’re here.

My name is Catherine—colleagues call me Catherine, pals call me Cat. I'm a southerner from North Carolina who has called herself a Manhattanite for three years—long enough to know that we have a pretty complex, love-hate relationship. (Love being an Emmy Squared pizza, and hate being the Times-Square subway platform at 6pm).

I graduated from the University of Georgia where I fell in love with journalism and the Dawgs. I called The Red & Black student newspaper my safe space during my four years as a student, and spent my free time exploring every edge of Athens on the hunt for new people to meet, new restaurants to try and new stories to tell. I am forever lucky to say I tossed my cap as a graduate from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

Ever since I can remember, writing has been my thing. Whether it was jotting down my greatest dreams in a journal, blogging my adventures in India or writing a profile piece for my hometown newspaper, it’s been my safe space. And now, as a professional journalist, I love nothing more than being that storyteller behind the words you read. That’s the most beautiful part, isn’t it? We all have stories to tell. I’d love to share yours.
